Start my estimateHow fast is fast enough?
Most drivers need 30–40 miles a day. Any Level 2 charger refills that in about an hour.
Level 1 · wall outlet
The cord that came with your car. Fine for plug-in hybrids, slow for full EVs.
Level 2 · 240V charger
What we install. A full charge overnight for nearly every EV on the road.
DC fast charging
Public stations for road trips. Not available for home installation.
Charger questions.
Which charger brand should I buy?
Any UL-listed Level 2 charger works. If your utility offers off-peak rates, choose a smart charger so you can schedule charging overnight.
Hardwired or plug-in?
We usually recommend hardwired: it's rated for higher power, works outdoors without a weatherproof outlet, and avoids worn receptacles.
How long does installation take?
Three to five hours for most garage installs. Exterior and detached installs can take a full day.
Are there rebates?
Some utilities and states offer rebates or credits for chargers and installation. Programs change often — we'll share what we know at your visit, but eligibility is up to the program.
